Web site launch !
Hi there !
My apologies for a rather long absence from the 'blogsphere' ! Am thinking though, that I may have a good excuse, hopefully you will agree.
I have been under pressure for some time from various quarters to do something more about marketing my woven items. This pressure intensified a week or so ago when I was at Woolfest and so I have been working on developing a web site !
I did have some help with getting started but have been busy taking photographs and adding content for the last few days. That has made me pretty unsociable both on the internet and here at home !! Meals have been thrown together and most household activities have been on hold to be caught up on next week ! Fortunately the weather has been awful and I haven't been tempted to be out of doors much.
Anyway, I think I am just about ready to 'go live' and show off the result of my efforts. There are still a few 'housekeeping' things to be sorted but I may have to seek help with them ! Supportive husband, Tony, has been testing and testing and more testing for me and has given the green light to at least try it out. So please have a look at Dorothy Stewart Handwovens and let me know what you think.
Each item posted on the web site has a facility for comments. I haven't tested this yet so please give it a try so that I can see if it works. There is also a contact page which I have tested and I'm pretty sure it is working.
In time, I will transfer my blog to the same environment but I will let you know when I'm ready to do that. Hopefully, in the meantime, you will enjoy looking at the various products on the website !
I will close with a photo of me at Woolfest last weekend. the weather was horrendous but I really enjoyed being part of the show with Helen from Ripples Crafts.
